Photo Kawagoe City is famous for the town which has been remaining Edo Atmosphere. This is the tower of Bell which tolled the time. Also this town is famous for Unagi (kabayaki and Satsuma imo (Sweet potatoes). I enjoyed both of them. Toojin-bo

S There is a Legend of TooJin-bo (bo mean Buddhism monk). Time was a long time ago. There was a Monk who had marvelous physical strength named Toojin-bo. He was fascinated with a beautiful princess in the provinces. However there was a rival in love named Magara Kakunenn who was also a monk. When there was a party on the rock, Kakunen pushed down Tojin-bo from this precipitous cliff. Then the weather changes for the worse rapidly and continued the thunder and rain storm for 5 days. The revengeful ghost of Toojin-bo became into a large wave and intensely it struck and it kept hitting the rock wall. Since then this clif called Toojin-bo. April 5 is the anniversary of his death.

Theater Yamanaka-za

S    The Honorary chairman is Ms.Mitsuko Mori who is the most famous actress in Japan.I do not know the reason why she is. The theater is center of Yamanaka onsen (hot spring: hot spring source). Every body can take a bath at the source spring. No additional heating, it is hot enough to take a bath. Actually, it is too hot to take a bath without adding water.

Nebuta Matsuri (Festival)

Nebutas3    This is the most famous Matsuri (Festival) in Aomori prefecture. There are many theories about the origin of the Nebuta Festival. One is that it is said to have originated after the subjugation of rebels in this district by "General TAMURAMARO" in the early 800's. He had his army create large creatures, called "Nebuta", for frighten the enemy. He is the first Seii taishogun ( TOP of General conquered enemy ) Since then Top of Bakufu of each aera , Kamakura, Muromachi, Edo were titled Seii Taishogun, So called shogun.

Nebutas1  The Nebuta floats are made of a wood base, carefully covered with this same Japanese paper, beautifully coloured, and lighted from the inner part with hundreds of light bulbs.
Used be the light were real fire ( Candle ), In early August the colourful floats are pulled through the streets accompanied by people dancing in native Nebuta costumes, playing tunes on flutes and drums Many Aomori citizens are involved in the building of these beautiful floats.

Beer Garden at Mt.Takao

Photo   There is the Beer Garden at Takao Mountain. It is around 600m high from sea level. It is Located near the station of Cable car. It is little bit cooler than town because of the hight and surrounded by forest. But If you want to go on Saturday or Sunday you would wait more than 90 minutes to reach to a beer.!! I strongly recommend to go there on weekday.

National Palace Museum

Photo    I have been to the National Palace Museum today. It has tremendous treasure of China from the stone age to the 20 century, espetially Chin-Dynasty.  Becausse of sunday, It was very crowded. I really surprised, many Easy_cards2vistors are Japanese. There are lot of information and explanation in Japanese in the exivision. I used MRT (train) and the bus transportation to go to the Museum. It is very convienient, Easy card can use not only for the train but also for the bus. It is a kind of touch sensor card same as Suica and Passmo in Japan. So passenger do not need to buy a ticket for every use, just touch it at the gate. Also it can use for Bus with same manner. That's why I could go to the museum alone by train and bus. Eventhough I can not understand chinese at all.
